Lo scorso fine settimana la ricerca “bitcoin dead” su Google ha raggiunto il suo “all-time high”: mai tanti utenti l’hanno googlata.
Non è un caso che la ricerca sia coincisa con bitcoin che sprofonda a meno di 18.000 dollari. Anche la ricerca “crypto is dead” ha raggiunto il suo massimo storico.
Pare esserci una correlazione tra ricerche di questo tipo, social media e fine del “bottom” del mercato. Il CEO di Binance CZ fa infatti notare un particolare curioso:
“Historically speaking, if you bought Bitcoin every time there is a “bitcoin is dead” headlines, you would have done well. Logic: when they lose hope, that’s when the bottom is in.”
Su Santiment, poi, si legge:
“Bitcoin’s plummet to $17.7k this weekend brought out the most discussion related to the #1 market cap asset in 2022. We often see major price reversals correlate precisely with high social volume rates, and $BTC has jumped +15.8% since.”
